Hi everyone! I warmly welcome all the visitors here.

Downsides of Being Intelligent!

“The world is comedy to those that think; a tragedy to those that feel.” –Horace Walpole

Most of the people wish to be more and more intelligent. Everyone wants to upgrade their mental abilities and perform works that would astonish others. Being intelligent gives you freedom to party hard and study less. You needn’t take all those boring lectures to understand underlying concepts because you can instantly understand them. You needn’t be too much worried of grades because you can get A’s with less hours of study. There are a lot of benefits of being intelligent. Along with these benefits, there are some downsides of being intelligent.

Can I live without you?

I ever wonder what would I do if i didn’t have you? What would I do alone? I think a lot and analyse even more. I ask myself, “Does that necessarily mean that I won’t be able to survive?” It seems like a nightmare for me to think so and that nightmare frightens me. I get plunged into dramatic imaginations and find myself surrounded with darkness. Wait… analysis is not over yet. It requires a lot of courage. I collect some shattered courage lying within me. As I go on searching for courage, I find that have reserves of courage and only a small part of it is required for me to think and moreover analyse. Is it predestined that we meet and our influence upon each other grow? Might be. If it weren’t you, there would have been someone. I want to quote a Sloka from Bhagavad-Gita,

Meaning: Never was there a time when I did not exist,  not you, nor all these kings; nor in the future shall any of us cease to be. (Bhagavad-Gita , 2.12)

This verse/ sloka reminds that these positions are eternal.

Intolerance Without a Cause!

I don’t know what’s wrong with me or what’s wrong with people I see around me. Either I find people around me intolerant or I am not well modernized to understand all the happenings. The world has changed “a lot”. I do not find any graph that describes its changes neither I can find any function to represent this change. The change is beyond exponential growth. I am a deluded being that doesn’t know what the purpose of this change is. The more I think, the more I get deluded. Thoughts get diversified; they categorize themselves in different categories. More thoughts find more categories. As per my mind perceives my activities, I (a human being whose brain functions) do not find myself in opposition to modernization but I have objection with some aspects of modernization.

God and Love (Poetry)

God and Love

I cannot see you, yet I know you are,
Feeling your omnipresence, amid peace and war,
Distance doesn’t matter, if you are near or far,
I can feel your love that knows no bars.

Your love isn’t selfish, doesn’t realise loss or gain,
With you, I can withstand every distress and pain,
With you I know, moments of satisfaction rain,
I just need you, let everything go in vain.

Story of a Science Student

Dedicated to all science students..

“It’s a poem”

Retention of nothing, only tension,
Cannot pay attention to chromatic abberation,
Acceleration of course but mind’s retardation,
Is science will or just an obligation.

Everytime “Ramailo” here no attention,
Everything here just for distraction,
After S.L.C. , science was an attraction,
Now, I realize college is for funny interaction.

(Poetry)

Surendra Bikram Thapa

My Class (Poetry)
Surendra Bikram Thapa

image

This article is about Malala Yousafzai, a Pakistani activist for female education and the youngest-ever Nobel Prize laureate.
